Anyone have the Staff Ele builds?
plz dont play this EU SoloQ – thx
Seriously, why do people always ask for builds and things. Or worse yet they keep their epic builds “secret” because they are so awesome.
The variety of builds in this game is so shallow and obvious that it is obvious what is a coherent build and what is not. You want to run shouts as a guardian? Well that decides your traits. Then we just have some small variations and a couple of options.
And it is the same for every class. You want to run condition necro? Might as well look at the condition lines then. You want to run staff ele with certain utilities? Look for the appropriate traits.
It is child’s play. This game is just totally simplistic and shallow right from its singular and lame game mode through to its non-existent theory crafting.

All I remember is cleric amulet. I’d rewatch the past broadcast on the gw2 channel on twitch where Blu calls out their builds.

sPvP Rank Dragon – 8 Champ Titles – Ruby Division
Probably 0/0/2/6/6, really basic popular build. The 6 in water is what makes it, as it has insane condition removal.
Pretty sure it was 0-0-2-6-6 with Clerics Amulet and Monk Runes, not sure on the sigils though.

0/0/2/6/6. Monk runes, clerics, sigil of life and energy.

Depends on which ele you were talking about. None of them were running the same thing, and the few differences created vast differences in play.

The healing staff eles played a major role in the NA ToL. I wanted to know if anyone had the builds of the ones used, as I’m curious of how they went about it.
Chubbz Z (Day), the elementalist for aPex Prime has his builds linked on his twitch page. http://www.twitch.tv/chubbsz

very true. People are way too stupid to understand how staff-supporters are utilized and how they work.
cleric support is very team-reliant to win and not good for soloq unless you want to play like home point bunker or something.
but if you go celestial with strength runes and same trait lines 0/0/2/6/6 you can be a hybrid with some good damage and survivability. i’m guessing that’s what Chubbz was running? and in soloq you should be a little more selfish and probably choose the cantrip traits for 2 and 4 in water instead of cleansing wave. i really also prefer to use arcane mastery trait 2 in arcana with arcane brilliance heal. the trait makes it only 20 sec CD and its a blast finisher for your water fields, and since water 3 is 20 sec CD as well, you can time it so that every heal is also blast, and if you use it with enemies near you it becomes almost a full-heal every 20 seconds not to mention always having regeneration. with your CC’s and cantrips as oh-kitten buttons you are very survivable, and with a little bit of might stacking from strength runes you can put out some really nice DPS as well.
Renewal is a full heal when you use clerics. Your hp is low to begin with. I’ve used it with several different weapons and wondered who just healed me from 10%, but it was all that sigil. And using a staff without energy is going to get you killed because dodge is the best defense you can have as any class. Be happy that energy sigil is free in pvp, instead of the 3x price it jumped to in the TP after patch.
If you’re playing with a team then that full heal spec is good, otherwise you’ll want more damage, because you’ll be bored most likely. I tend to run s/f w/celestial for no-low deaths and still apply pressure in hotjoin/sq.
