The Ready Up dates hint at it and considering the ESO release date of April 4th I highly doubt it will come any later.

Do not forget the feature build includes a relatively large amount of content for PvE aswell, the main source of income. As little a threat as ESO may seem a portion of profit will be lost if Anet doesn’t advertise and deliver fast enough despite whether or not ESO is a better game. People get involved and addicted, a bit like us sPvPers.

As bad as PvP now is in GW2, I wouldn’t consider TESO to be any competition. It’s honestly the only MMO beta I’ve played where I was bored within an hour.

I wish TESO were good enough to kill GW2. If it were a real threat, ANet would actually have to put their pants back on and do work to compete.

ESO is trash for an MMO in this day & age, but people are actively looking for an alternative and ESO/WS are the only upcoming titles. GW2 pvp is nothing but a headache of OP mindless trash builds, 4v5, no progression and general lack of fun-factor, and that is driving people away.

So yes, ESO is garbage, but even that might be better than what we have here. TBH I’d love to see a preview of the upcoming patch, I think a lot of people are in the position of hoping beyond hope that the patch brings redemption and gives people a reason not to go.

Weird how ESO has already got a million+ preorders then…

Really it will easily sell 3 million+, how many will stay subscribed thou…that’s another story…
