They can sustain as well as a ele, yet put out considerably more damage and have decent cc break/snaring to boot, to the point where, aside from the ‘just cc them hard’ you can’t realistically be expected to engage one without aid.

Well Low tier ( very strong ) mid tier 50-50 ( depends on players enemy builds ) end game high tier ( not so op nice support ) thats about it.

You need to know how to kill them. They have absolutely NO damage with their personal weapons. What will kill you is their pet, you need to know what the pet is doing, and the druid will try to distract you and captalize on your ignorance of their pet. Bristleback barrages will annihilate your healthbar, and smokescales will pursue and wear down on you very hard.

tl;dr extreme condi pressure, CC bombs or high power damage

A guardian will have 0 chance of killing a good druid. Same with thief unless the thief is particularly spammy and moronic.

In duels they can be. 25 stacks of might, spamming staff from range while letting smokescale and bristleback burst, stealthing and healing to full when low. Then there’s ancient seeds you have to deal with…

It’s a lot to try and handle. Even slightly tanky druids can just outsustain the whole fight while letting pets and staff 1 do their damage.

They are in a pretty good spot, they’ve got sustain and dps. They lack cleave but make up for it with party support and stealth res/stomp.

Mender’s are easy enough to handle, the only source of damage is CA #5 and pets. The one’s that are really hard to deal with are the destroyers/paladins/marauders staff/lb druids who abuse astral seeds and punish you heavily for any minor mistake. Trust me, you don’t wanna face tank their dps.

Druids are one of the best 1v1 duelist. To kill them try having a necro +1 on the fight to corrupt their boons properly. Otherwise a good druid is not likely to die 1v1 and they can kite & sustain pretty well.

Yeah right lol. They can outheal the damage of 2 pure DPS classes, and if it does get to be too much they can just disengage the fight and return 10 seconds later at 100% health.

1v1 i think the druid is strong but 2v1 (players same skill ) will force druid to run or just keep fighting till its dead.

I honestly cannot understand why people have trouble fighting druids. Most of the druids I come across are almost free kills, and I don’t even have HoT. Here is a video of how to beat them I took last season in sapphire and ruby: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BboUpdAtR94

Its the same this season. 90% of druids I face I am confident of killing 1vs1. I can’t say that for any other class. In fact some classes, like warriors and ele, I might only beat 10% or 20% of the time in a 1v1 if I play at my best and the enemy is not very good.

I also find druids extremely easy to beat when I play some variant of a non-HoT burn guard.

When I see a druid on the enemy team it makes me very happy, because I know from experience that only about 1 in 10 are likely to put up any resistance. It might be different in diamond and legendary tiers- maybe all the great ranger players are in there- but from ruby down imo druid is by far the weakest class (the easiest for me to kill or for a team to focus down).

And it cracks me up how confident some of these druids seem. They think they can decap far like an engi or warrior and they can’t even hold it/take it against one non-HoT player.

You can see that in the first fight of the video- I don’t think that guy got one attack off on me, totally crushed. And you can see the same overconfidence in the second last fight where one druid left the point and ran to mid leaving me to 1vs1 against the other druid. He lasted about 5 secs, and that’s even with me kittening up by not dodging his knockback. No other class goes down that easily- not even thief.

Yasha, we’ve been over this already in another thread, but let’s go there again. If that video is representative of the caliber of Druids you generally face, then you’re just farming terrible players. Simple as that. Your video may be amusing to watch, but it’s irrelevant to the conversation.

Maybe if you have good pressure and boon removal. Against a war they can just dodge the headbutt and primal bursts.

One game was sapphire the rest were ruby. I don’t think they were crap players, in fact the player in the sapphire game was probably one of the best of that video. The video is just a snapshot of what I see all the time- druids are the easiest class to kill.
