Lol. It got revived.
And game still in a miserable state.
overambitious. the devs wanted to go from an amazingly good pvp game with appeal and options for just about any type of guild wars player, to a game with very limited appeal and options, alienating a lot of the playerbase. they pushed the esports idea – putting all their eggs in that basket – based on the success of pvp in guild wars, when it was really, really far from warranted, considering that almost nothing was the same from one game to the next.

No, but we’re almost done with pre-alpha stage of gw2.
