ArenaNet you want ESport? heres the idea

forget current SPvP as your model for Esport.

Add a new form of pvp using Miniatures, but having each Mini have say 4-6 skills and make a Lane map with this in mind. This could be 5v5 or 3v3 or whatever but have all the traditional gameplay elements of a MOBA simply with GW2 minies graphics.

This way you can produce the Esports you wanted in the game, while at the same time not limiting the ideas and designs for SPvP/instanced PvP.

Thoughts?

This is MMORPG not MOBA

No please. If I wanted to play Pokemon, I would play Pokemon.

I say keep sPvP but add in a fighting game mode. Poach some of the talent behind Virtua Fighter 5 since Virtua Fighter has a reputation for solid mechanics and balance.

Why is this in the PvP section? This a mini game NOT a game mode.

Let the ANET devs brainstorming about the new and innovative pet-battle and make this an E-sport! They can surely balance 4 abilities!

So they leave the current sPvP as it is!

If they spend some money on actual balancing and if watching the game was enjoyable by a random person we would never get a pokemon 2.0!!!

Honestly: I did watch all the ESL and the Qualifications in the last few weeks… If I wasn’t play gw2 PvP every day I wouldn’t have a flying kitten what was on my screen…
