With the whole phasing out glory it’s already been stated time and time again that PvE players have an unfair advantage in terms of transferable gear… Now I have no idea what’s going on in terms of the new system. (although I’d speculate that the PvP lockers will dispense unlimited skins or gear usable in PvE and PvP)

But I was thinking… what about ascended? those would both be unique skins that PvEers could bring in and we’d have almost no access to. and what if we felt like playing PvE? We have to grind out crafting to 500 with god knows how much gold, when we make like 15 silver every 10-20 min? Doesn’t seem very fair does it?

Now not only will this give PvEers incentive to play PvP and give us a better population. People can learn how to play presuming our community can be tolerant to some degree .

There should be some sort of gates. I don’t think it’s a good idea where a r10 joins in a team queue on a whim and gets carried to instant ascended for pure luck…

an alternate way could be to get crafting exp drops, and having crafting mats as part of the loot tables for PvP, this means all pvpers have to do is craft their gear and transfer it into PvP

Either way I think this would be a fair reward, giving us skins in PvP and desirable gear in PvE.

Thoughts?

PVP is being “integrated” better into the rest of the game (aka – phased out). So, if you want ascended-looking gear, my guess is that you will have to pve for it.

They have been so tight lipped, and tentative, and NDA about any changes coming to the pvp scene, that all we can do is speculate. And with this group of developers, it is honestly impossible to speculate what they will actually do,

I mean, who saw Defiance Stance, or Water Spirit coming??? LOL
