Just got Gobreche’s armor box for Valkyrie stat ascended gear. I didn’t think these single boxes still existed since the change to the armor boxes in fractals. For those of you whom may not remember the ascended armor that drops in fractals are grouped into 3 different sets. So there are only 3 types of armor boxes but chances are you can pick the stats that fit your character. I think this should be the same for PvP rewards when it comes to ascended armor. That is all.

i think there should be more confirmed chances to earn ascended armor weapons in sPvP and not rely on RNG.

I agree, the new rewards aren’t bad but getting a whole ascended set with the current system is tedious and only fun to the ppl who like farmville.

Got my birthday bonus on a alt. Played 10-12 hours of pvp and got 2 rares and 6 t6 mats from that time. Helped a new guild member become familiar with fractals and run a fractal lvl 7 in 25 minutes. Got 9 rares and 2 t6 mats.

My magic find with birthday bonus is 241%.

It’s a purely anecdotal example, but it pretty much sums up PvP rewards and their associated loot tables currently.

We will always want more.

PvP used to yield almost nothing of value beside dyes. Now we get gold for matches and reward chest with stuff that are sell-able. This was not too long ago either.

an “ascended” reward track is one of the many reward tracks that they need to make,
they could make it alot longer than the standard reward tracks, but it should definitely happen!
i got an ascended ring during the first week of the reward tracks, nothing since!

they need to dedicate a patch to piling out a butt load of new reward tracks like ascended, living world, levelling (tomes of knowledge and scrolls), maybe a blacklion reward track with random BL loot each step and a key at the end.

they also need to get rid of the reward caps, if someone can keep earning rewards in casual pve or casual wvw then we should be able to do the same for casual pvp (hotjoin), they can keep the caps on the dungeon tracks if they want, but not the pve tracks.

I’ve had 10 ascended drops so far heheheh. I had 2 berserker rings but they were the same one so I couldn’t use em both on the same alt, I also got two mellagons whurls or whatever it’s called alongside about 3 cleric amulets XD

I got a bunch of kittened rings :/
If you really wanted ascended though, you can easily craft to 500 and get some.
Just takes like 500 gold in mats.
