Mortar Attack Manifesto
On August 28th, an enemy long thought dead arose from below the depths of Anvil Rock. The Stone Summit Dwarves claimed that in their solitude they had realized the error of their ways and abandoned their Vyndetta against the followers of Deldrimor. We took them at their word. By granting them amnesty, we allowed them to reforge their society and since that day they have thrived.
These last few months we have stood idly by as the army of the Stone Summit grew before our eyes, and in our Folly we permitted their militias to far exceed the limits of a national defense. Under the guise of a utopian society based on the principles of peace and honor, innumerable soldiers rallied to their cause and I began to grow fearful their intentions may be more sinister than they seemed.
I decided to launch a formal investigation into the motives of Anvil Rock’s newest denizens. My spies lived amongst them, walked their Mists, and witnessed the brainwashing of unwitting citizens as they were transformed in both body and mind from honorable warriors to mindless Trolls, satiated only with the procurement of further Glory and self-Qualification.
Upon recieving these reports, I was filled with a sense of remorse for the loss of our friends. Seeking a better life they had moved to Anvil Rock only to be reduced to mindless Trolls through our collective decision to retrocede these lands to the Stone Summit, and allowing them to rebuild their once Powerrful empire.
It is with a heavy heart that I must ask my fellow Tyrians to do what we must and put a stop to this mounting threat. We must initiate a preemptive strike against the Trolls before more souls are lost to the insanity.
Since my suspicions first arose I have amassed an enormous cache of weaponry, and now is the time to strike! February 7th at 12:00 PM PST (3:00 Eastern) we begin our siege on the Trolls of Anvil Rock. To aid us in our cause simply return to Character Select, go to world selection, choose Anvil Rock and press Guest. We have the munitions, you need only bring your fighting spirit! Attackers should dye their armaments in red, signifying the might of all that is good in the world, but remember you may only guest twice in a 24-hour period, so don’t log out until you’re defeated!
