I have noticed all treb shoots in kyhlo are not annoced just like the troll cannon in Capricorn.
Is this intended?
Why?
Please, battle of kyhlo is one of few maps that’s still actually playable. Don’t ruin it pls.

nah, in my recent games I haven’t seen the treb shots getting announced ever. Not even sure if it’s a recent patch.
Maybe it’s bug or exploit to get it hidden?

I get the same sometimes although pretty rare.
Could be something with audio channels getting screwed up some other abilities around you maybe?

Yeah I get it sometimes too. Really annoying.

Edit: Not just since patch.

I am pretty sure the audio channel is fine since I got the announce when cap.
Its just the treb is totally silent mode.
Its been like that for a while now.
Can we have the DEV at least look into this?

you mean we dun hear the “INCOMING!” warning voices anymore? O_O

this has been a bug since release.

Two biggest reasons that I won’t hear the treb:

1. I was just outside the warning range when the treb is originally fired.
2. One of the teams captures a point, so the announcer is too busy saying that already when it should be playing the warning sound.

Played the map in soloQ yesterday. No bug for me. The nice guy warns me every time

Same issue today.
This map is basically bugged and unplayable for me.

Can we please please have dev at least acknowledge this will be looked into??

Also the skyhammer is silent for me too. Not that of a big deal since you can see the AOE. My audio settings are at default.

I played without sound for 12 months because of the occasional sound bug that made you hide under your bed or smash your headset on the floor. After I realised it was patched ages ago I turned it back on but it’s easy not to rely on game sounds. Just pan your camera and dodge or have a team mate who’s assigned to kill the treb call it out while he’s on his way.
