Base Attackers Before Game Start
Don’t click ready until you have a chance to change your skills/traits then. That way you can control (somewhat) when the timer will end. Or just don’t leave your base until after deciding on what you want to take
That won’t matter Ori,
He’s talking about when the enemy breaks in and starts attacking you while your standing in the spawn zone. it put’s you into combat, which prevents your from changing your build.
They aren’t even supposed to be able to reach you if you are in spawn. Report them if they broke into your spawn, otherwise just back up out of LoS so they can’t hit you
Mortar on engineer can reach both spawns on foefire and forest. There are safe spots but it takes a bit to find them. There isn’t really any way around it.
Yeah like Twigifire said. I am not even clickin ready, they all reachin there and once u got in to combat mode its hard to go out. If i go out off base they attackin me, also time is limited. Not much time to do other options to get out off combat mode.
This is why we need skill templates, like in gw1.
I’ve messed around several times using multiple classes and have never been able to hit anyone with AoE at their spawn unless they had moved to the ledge.
I remember it happening in Skyhammer. It’s been a long time since I did Conquest and only happened once or twice. In stronghold there are plenty places you can go before it starts to avoid that.
Never actually realised there was a reason behind it like trying to prevent changing equipment or utilities. Is this becoming a common strategy where people attack the base intentionally trying to prevent the other team from changing or just a couple of one off base attackers doing it just to show they can rather than consciously trying to prevent change?
