Other than the highest parts of the walkways, I don’t run into the issue too often.
But yes, it’s really weird how pathing works on this map (_and in general, to be completely fair).
I recall they fixed how you couldn’t port up to the blue side’s walkways at all. I just can’t but stop and question why they didn’t fix it completely.
With how pathing for teleports works, sometimes parts of the map are actually considered a disconnected tile and thus proper path up to the point you designate is impossible.
It’s like those rocks on the side nodes on Forest of Niflhel – they are actually disconnected from the main part of the map and thus unreachable by teleports (IIRC).
This means fixing the issue you raised might involve some remodeling.
I might be wrong though.

Welcome to pvp where half of the terrain shows you middle finger. I still can’t believe skyhammer was added to ranked like this when you can’t use shadowstep, blink, steal etc. on side points on flat terrain due to the bug.
I also agree with the thread, why is blue side balcony is different than red side?
