Been playing my trap build lately. Running a mix of 2 different builds.

Yes I mess up a fair bit. But honestly I don’t really care, one thing I’m extremely happy about all the FOTM ranger’s have left so you rarely see any rangers anymore.

I have no stun breaker and barely any condition remove WHY, cause we have bearbow.

I’m totally down with traps, I’ve been running traps on my ranger for like 10 months.
I’ve been tweaking the build since I first started running it of course.

Trap’s sure are fun, better then most you get to use every single skill.

I’ve been trying to make LB – Sword/Horn work with Trap builds, it’s rather funny only seems to work some times.

I love trap tangers, one of the funniest builds to play.

I’m on mission atm to bring back trapper into Team Que, but I’m not sure its going to happen.

So far I’ve found we darn good pushing far point and holding home, few problem’s but we have no swiftness well my build doesn’t, and we have no escape. If you take look at some skills Warrior and Engi have for backpoint in terms of escape and holding its just insane compared to a Ranger.

Be nice if they turned Signet of Renewal into a skill like Elixir S or Berserker Stance. Then we stand a nice chance.

I’ll keep recording and posting, hopefully Anet takes the time to check out the Trap ranger and improves the builds.

Also, the hard counter to Trap Ranger is Spite + Corrupt Boon, wait for us to pop RoA and Corrupt once we remove spite and its GG we are dead. We can’t remove the conditions without killing our pet making all our condition remove useless. I’ve tried running healing spring but without team blast finishers it’s useless. I would love to be able to take Spirit of Nature but that would make Trap ranger tad to strong I feel.

That’s the hole point, normally I get 10 page’s of hate mail, so this time I figured I say something random that throws them off there game. It worked this time….

lol someone might find this thread’s title ambiguous.
I like your build though, it is always nice to see someone try out new combinations and have them work

I haven’t ran one in a while, but I dabbled with Traps and it is fun.

And it is so refreshing to see something other than Spirit Ranger.
