This discussion is pointless. Why ask for 5 man team when maximum allowed in seasons is party of 2? We got more important feedback to provide in this forum.

Also what is a Power elementalist Dagger focus?

that doesnt mean that before the match starts ppl cant call for a specific class or a swap between 2 classes and such

I don’t know if there truly is a best composition but if I was in an organised team I would want something like this:
- Ele
- Necro
- Druid
- Mesmer
- Rev

I went against this comp the other day and there was literally nothing I could do. Not only were the banners destroying my team, but the bunker thief was healing people like crazy. GS necro just destroys GS warrior, not even a real fight.

Don’t even get me started on ventari rev, with the alacrity the heals come in so fast you’d think this was season 1. Burn guard is there because this comp is lit AF

Druid over scrapper.
You need ele + necro on mid, druid holds side.
Then the last 2 you decide: mesmer, warrior, thief…proly 2nd tier dh, rev.

ele + necro + druid

last two depend on players and comp goals

Tier 1
Ele + Nec + Druid + War

Tier 2
Engi/Thief/Mesmer/DH/Rev

Considering you don’t have that mobile class, I would find a good engi/thief/mesmer or settle for DH/Rev.

The answer is: nobody knows!

Anet doesn’t make any pro league event’s = no competitive team skrims and seriously test updates…and oh boy that means nobody checked last 3 balance updates.

What we have now is more or less meta based on performance of each classe in ranked and builds that works in solo/duo q for few good pvp streamers. For example berserk gs war and power necro happened thanks to streamers – not because it was effective in full man premade during event with money on the line. We all know how DH performance looks like in ranked but nobody would risk prize money to use dh in team.

And good luck with asking anybody what is optimal/most op premade. If anet ever starts proleague event nobody serious would share such info.

All we can do it’s speculate, that’s all.

Back to topic: i think you would still need one roamer (be it thief or mes, thief is probably still better option despite the nerfs…) depending on certain maps.
