I just came back from a long break from sPvP and saw the attempt of a tier list here on the forum and there was mentions of many different strong builds.
If you guys could be so kind and link all the current strong builds I would be eternally grateful.
Trap/Bunker rangers with dps pets (wtf), crazy bunker eles, not-as-crazy-as-bunker-but-still-over the top d/d dps eles and usual bs-caltrops thieves, shatter mezs, bunker guardians, cond necros, hb wars…..
Just don’t run an engi unless you want to make a macro grenade.net (I got you with my net and you’re kittened) burst, but since “i can play like a pro with just one button” macros are not allowed (Thank god) i don’t suggest you to do so
Off the top of my head for Ele: Dagger/Dagger or Sceptre/Dagger 0-10-0-30-30 w/ Zephyrs Boon, Soothing Disruption, Cleansing Wave/Cantrip Mastery, Powerful Auras/Cleansing Water, Elemental Attunement, Arcane Mastery/Renewing Stamina/Final Shielding. Evasive Arcana.
Optional: Take 10 from water and put into Air/Earth
Utilities would be: Glyph of Harmony/Signet of Restoration, Mist Form, Armor of Earth+Lightning Flash/Armour of Earth+Arcane Wave/Arcane Blast+Arcane Wave/Lightning Flash+Arcane Wave/Glyph of Renewal+Anything

This is the build for the treb user taken from guild’s forum, i usually go paids with another guild so i don’t have those rangers in team and i dunno if it’s up to date or something…just take a look
Seems to do pretty well against the gauntlet and I can usually get around 300+ points in a random hotjoin match (not that hotjoin matters for tournies).

The builds we run are functionally very, very similar, actually. The only differences are a pet choice, a trap choice, the amulet, runes, one sigil and 5 trait points. Personally, running the II trait in skirmishing is a sad waste of trait; the bleed lasts for 1 second from the wiki. It’s a worthless trait that looks good at a glance. Running the wolf pet is counter intuitive for this build, in my opinion, as fear effectively makes people run out of your traps; I opted for the jungle spider since it is ranged (allowing you to use terrain advantage without sacrificing dps) and it has a snare AND stun, both of which keep people stuck in traps.
12 (After that i realized it would take too much time to go any further) i was prot and sometimes pd/pb when manuel (Specialist) couldn’t play, i left gw for studying when lord was r9 and when i got back he was r13 xD Still went with them and asmo in balanced many times…i totally left gw when lord got banned (Don’t ask ._.) and woom pretty much disbanded…sadly he said he’s not coming back to gw2 but i keep stalking him on facebook to change his mind. Are your warlords also up in gw2?
There is only one way to best builds – pick a class you like the most, thing about what you want to do with that class, make a build, improve and practice. In time you’ll have a build which works perfectly for you.
Btw, don’t listen to that guy about engineer, its a great class, just not as easy to play as others.

I was once like you, so optimistic.
Not optimistic. I use it in every game, sure, my builds might not be the best ones, but hey, I’m having fun with them and because of trying and trying I find sometimes different builds which can surprise a lot and work kitten well. And you learn a lot about your class by trying all different kind of stuff.
Sort of. I remade the guild and invited everybody from GW1, but no one from the HA core is playing except me and Champen afaik.
Same here…we made a guild but we got only gw1 pve guys, the only one high rank ha player in my ita guild [PN] is Ransie…most of ha guys are not on gw2 right now, and someone like chamalee already left cause pvp is kind of a beta level right now, always same things, bugs, lamers, boring matches and so on…for example i was talkin’ with starcraft some time ago, he went from US to EU months ago and he’s still not getting rewards from tornaments so he’s forced to go hotjoin if he wants to do something in pvp….things like that don’t encourage ppl to play for sure….i really hope anet does something about this situation, a nice and fun pvp would bring much more gw1 ppl here imo, you would probably agree that at the end of the day, or at last for me, you sometimes end up asking yourself why are you still playing….rank in worthless, qpnts too, i don’t give a kitten bout aesthetic stuff and pve/wvsw…probably i’m still playing cause i still hope things will change one day..
