Best server and class for pvp?
everyone plays on the same server for sPvP. I won’t touch on best class right now, haven’t figured out the new meta yet.
All is vain.
It doesnt matter the server you just play in europe.
If you want to see more people go desolation.
As for the class, play anything but ele if you want to be sexessfull

Anvil Rock is the pvp server, although you can always just guest there. You might want a different server if you plan to pve or do hard-core wvw.
Best class for a beginner – either a warrior, ranger, or necro. You can make alot of mistakes and still do really well with all 3 classes. Some ranger builds can just spam 1, and I have seen some necros that play minion master (a pet spec) that don’t even move, just spam their skills and let their pets do all the work. Warriors can just focus on spamming out damage/stuns and never have to heal b/c they have the most broken heal in the game.
Edit: as others have alluded to, your “server” only effects the people you see in the waiting area. Matches draw from all servers in the region (either NA or EU). EU supposedly has more players, but you may have lag issues maybe.
necro, mesmer and ranger are the most fun professions, IMO. i love my ranger so much. i can beat almost anyone with it 1v1.
