Random thought, get together 4 friends all of you create an asura Mesmer with similar names eg, li Mesmer Li and il Mesmer il and Li Mesmer il etc you get what I mean. Create them with exactly identical looks and gender. Go into game, and skin all of the 5 mesmers with the dullest looking armor you can find, all wearing the same armor ofc, dye all of the mesmers black from head to toe. If possible all 5 mesmers skin the purple misty gs, or other purple misty weapons of choice. To make it even better if possible all skin legendaries for maximum confusion. All 5 go into pvp and watch everyone get hurt in confusion. Ofc assuming decently skilled mesmers all of them are.

I dunno if black would be the best choice, hmm maybe if every dyed purple as close to the Color of illusions as possible.

On second thought big characters would work too, make all 5 charr or norn mesmers scaled to the biggest and bulkiest size. Ofc choosing only either one. Have all 5 skin either the black of white wings to make the character look bigger haha. Epic confusion.

Such is why we have default character models, now we just need default names so it will make them be mesmer apple, mesmer orange, mesmer banana, mesmer plum, mesmer mango

This has been done several times on both EU and NA in the past, can’t remember who did it or when though.
