Blocked players the main problem of pvp
Blocked players know you block them. It’s why they do that.
Simply make sure they can’t see you blocked them.
Many vet change toon name from time to time, so they are not in your situation.
I will uselly play my new builds or test on other toon name than Dal something.

This suggestion has been made over and over again and it won’t work in a pvp game, no matter how big it is. People would block the best players in the game so they can get free wins.
This is what happened in Overwatch as well.
Players abused the ‘avoid player option’. Guess what happened? The best players were stuck in queue forever because everyone intentionally avoided(blocked) them. Blizzard had to take it out of the game.
He went AFK before you reported him, remember this is the very reason you reported him. In short, his strategy is to go AFK in all games, maybe to abuse the system, artificially lowering his level now, to benefit from bonus pips later, with win streaks…
Him saying what he said was just to upset you – his strategy was already to stay AFK for many games. You have nothing to do with his decision, he’s just made it so it looks like it’s your fault, to make you feel guilty.

There’s a simple solution to that though, don’t win so many games that people put you on their block lists. Be considerate, they want wins too. If you insist on winning every single game, you end up with longer queue times, that seems to balance out.
you spend complaining about it on the forums, you’d be
done by now.”

LOL wut. Your solution is to simply tank games…. you realize that you would lose that privilege to complain about afkers and people playing badly on purpose right?
must have bumped your head before you posted that

this is probably very true. At least the system currently rewards players with low MMR with low MMR enemies so going AFK for a few games will reward you with a few easy games afterwards.

You would have a very long Queue

The solution to the problem of blocking good players for easy matches is just to avoid putting blocked people on YOUR team, but still allow the matchmaking to put them on the enemy team.
As far as I can tell, the only people this would really hurt in terms of queue times are those who block nearly everyone and those who are toxic enough to BE blocked by nearly everyone. The first group can avoid or fix this themselves, the second probably deserves it.
Seems like a good idea, most people on my block list I have absolutely no desire to ever play with.
I am willing to take increased queue times for this. It’s better wait a bit longer than know I’m gonna lose because that abusive **** is on my team again anyway, and that’s besides the not wanting to put up with the abuse.
A decent alternative would be banning players who break the rules, but they appear unwilling to do so.

Where did you get the block list doing anything about opponents? The suggestion seems to be only about your own team.
There’s no real disadvantage in being unable to read what your opponents say so there’s little reason to have this affect the opposing team.

It would be ok if you report a player and as long as the report was effective you don’t have to play with them again.
