What seems to be happening is: many people recognize a likely loss in the first several team fights. So they quit wasting their time and hang out and let the score rocket to 500 so they can get on to the next match and see if they have a winning chance.

So a game that would have been 500 – 295 becomes 500-50. Which makes the matchmaking appear to be much more lopsided than it actually was.

The matcher creates losses, but people who have 300 losses under their belt see the pattern quickly. And stop fighting.

Somehow it seems less humiliating to take the loss on purpose, than to work as hard as you can and STILL get crushed.

Players have implemented their own RESIGN button.

Why would we waste time on a lost match?
What’s the difference for players losing 500-350 or 500-20?

80-90% of the players (my own estimation) sollely care about the pips.
loss = 1 pip loss
win = 1 or 2 pips gain

That’s it. There’s no more “lets do our best to get 350 so we can still get 1 pip or worst case scenario not lose a pip at all for achieveing good score”.

That was unfortunately a wrong decision.

I get it. I just wanted to say the matchmaker wasn’t necessarily predicting 500-50 at the start. People make it that way. And for very understandable reasons, I think.

Main two issues I’ve been seeing that people do not know how to play and added onto that is the fact they degrade their own team.

Well… since you lose, why not losing it to gain some MMR?

If you lose at 400 or more and the opponent team got higher MMR than you, you are raising it.

To goes out of MMR hell you all need to lose closed matches. If not… well GL HF losing more games.

It was easier to work on MMR when it was used for BOTH team. Now since it’s only on your team… it’s way harder to raise it.

At least, lose your matches better to have your only way out of that low mmr… or play with people who want to play with you to stop complaining about MM.

It’s more based on Div and amount of pips.

EDIT; just stating there might be something like MMR but I feel its a lie more than anything.

MMR is still taken into account for your team.

As I edited above; it’s a lie or its not functioning like it should.
Players who:

- dont know how targeting works (they literally ask me how)
- dont see the point in putting a target
- dont see its conquest where capturing points is vital
- dont see its bad sending 2 to beast in Forest at start

shouldnt not be matched with me yet this happens.
