I don’t know if someone has mentioned this before but I’ve encountered several players which were obviously not playing the game themselves and were using a bot. All they did was walk to a capture point and die there doing nothing. It was plain obvious. They also didn’t respond to messages and whispers at all. Since an eventual tournament win grants more rank points and glory than a regular hotjoin game, it’s become a better place for them to farm apperantly.

Never seen any bots myself. Not sure what the point of that would be either. Increase your rank at the cost of your leaderboard position? hmmm

With bots on your side it’s 5v4, so basically the botter’s and his team’s win chances are reduced by 99%.

Not sure about that myself, but it’s still a fact. Maybe they just farm for achievement points and don’t care about PvP rankings. The reasons can be many.

While we understand your frustration, please remember that bots must be always either reported via the in game report tool or by sending evidence (pics or video) to the CS team – http://en.support.guildwars2.com/ – so they can take care of it. Also, please remember that posting about it in the forums does not help solving the issue.
