I just lost a match in diamond due to one scrapper’s ability to actually, literally, not die. Despite being a mara strength rune rev running devastation and invocation, I could not for the life of me kill a scrapper soloing our lord (Lord needs a buff to make up for years of power creep, but that’s another post.)

It would seem pretty simple to me that, if I were on the balance team, a profession capable of sitting 2 vs 1 all game and benefiting from it is not acceptable. That would apply to ele as well, but I’m sure anet is already looking into ele’s next nerf, and if they don’t, I’m sure BDO has pvp that is not similar to banging your head against concrete.

Did you time jade winds or staff 5 at the proper moment to catch him right as he comes out of the invulnerable form? That helps.

Only for cleric’s, I run mender’s so I can swap between decent offense and decent healing as the situation demands.

My goal for this season is to get to diamond. Since i got to diamond 2 weeks ago, i don’t even bother to play the game or pvp, i just log on for socialize and daily reward ^^. There won’t be any changes until next quarter balance patch SO SUCK IT BRITNEY !!!! >;o jk <3

They just need to fix the triple leap finisher and it’d be a bit more balanced, maybe.

Well, scrapper will definitely need a look at once they nerf necro a bit, but right now, they’re not too much of an issue because they suffer so much against them and necros are everywhere.

You can pump one of these heal-boon spamming engineer and elementalists full of conditions and direct damage, and they just keep doing their thing with no changes.

Putting poison on someone should have a greater impact on their healing than it does now.

Right now poison just decreases healing by 33%. But it’s clearly not enough. It should also reduce healing power (aka Compassion) to the base 0 while it’s on someone.

Weakness should also reduce all stats of the target by at least 5%, preferably 10%.

No brain. Their species is older than most. Yet there they are, going on, practically unaltered. Biologically immortal. They’ll probably survive us after we kill ourselves by not doing anything to stop climate change.

Oh I knew this kitten from weeks ago, hell months, but then so did everyone else. Just noone really said anything “lately” cause it’s already been harped, and nothing is done yet. Triple single target evade that counts as a leap finisher into a water field while still dealing solid dps followed by their forcefield of doom? ha kitten ha

A revenant saying that a marauder build should not have so much sustain..dunno if to laugh ..or cry…or just do both ^^
…Still I roll my eyes when another revenant starts to call boonspam bots other professions…I pray no other company will try ezport in a MMO after Anet….it’s just laughable

P.S How can we kill a rev that 2vs1 also? ^^…oh wait I can imagine the coming answers…oh boy (roll eyes again)

Let’ be honest. It is not just scrapper. Yeah, scrapper survives the best but all other meta specs have some ridiculous braindead sustain ability.

Even mesmer(which I main) and revenant which are supposed to be glassy dps can sustain for quite a while by just spamming skills.

good one ,scrapper have so much boon spam that necro corruption can t keep up with that.

Scrapper dont suffer for physical damage, he has a lot of tools, but concerned condi bomb it´s not the same. You can easily kill a scrapper with chill, poison! So reroll necro or send a necro/mesmer to fight the scrapper.
Each class has his counter. If you are not the scrapper counter just use your team!
It´s not because you ca?t kill him alone that you have to cry to scrapper nerf.
Tips: condi rev can easily kill a scrapper trust me!

put condi on the revenant, put weakness if you have issue on survive to him, he will die very fast without an ele around. And no i dont have any issue against revenant even 1v1 using a thief or a warrior, i dont understant whats your problem killing him 2v1.
Instead a scrapper no matther if he is legend or amber, he can survive pretty hard no matter his skill.

Healing turret + blast and 3 leap finishers is what makes this really broken imo.. i mean who the heck thought of putting 3 leap finishers in one skill? Why not just a single one at the last leap?

Necro and condi Mesmer both wreck scrapper.

Ele/Druid should be able to outsustain a scrapper

Have you seen the Reaper? Thing can tank like a beast, throw mad condijtions on you and just melt you down without missing a beat.

Easy to focus down, can’t catch you, can be kited, and has no blocks, stealth, evades, invincibility skill. One big damage sponge. If the enemy team has no sustain, and only nec here or there at higher levels it’s gg. This post not about reapers, just scrappers. :p

Playing as a condi reaper with tons of boon corrupt I can confirm, even timing corrupts past their invuls they’re kitten near unkillable without half your team CONSTANTLY applying pressure to them.

Same with eles, unless I got a buddy and absolutely perfect timing, any ele worth half their kitten will outlast till the enemy team can respond.

But the question remains…can they pressure you back assuming you’re worth half your kitten?…You complain about what you can’t kill..but can you be killed under the same circumstances?…I think not
