It’s been a few months since the reduction to 5v5 and I was just wondering how many besides me thinks ANet should go back to eight-player parties in PvP.

I gave 5v5 a fair shake and I just don’t like it. I wish they’d at least consider making half the server browser 5v5’s and the other half 8v8 or 10v10.

that’s not happening since they want us to learn how to play 5 vs 5.

in the past i have seen players hosting 8 vs 8 servers, even leaving the server name unchanged i.e. server 001 and server 002 for a while those servers were quite full, i am not sure what has become of those servers now though.

nowadays it is very rare to find rooms with full 5 vs 5.

most of the time it will be 5 vs 4 and then auto balance wars begins.

That’s what I was afraid of. I used to see 8v8 customs every now and then…but not as of late.

More then likely we’ll get those other popular custom game modes (need no introduction) first, since they’re becoming ever more popular and are always full.
