Amazing point. Hadn’t even thought of that. I do miss the diversity 8v8’s brought to the table.

Always hated this change to hotjoin. Now hotjoin is just a more horrible version of Ranked pvp instead of being.. well.. a hotjoin.. where you can jump in and play for fun w/o too much waiting. Why make it identical to ranked? I guess they really wanted to sell custom maps bad enough to break it. Would be nice if it existed in Ranked/Unranked too .

8v8s currently exist only in custom servers. I wouldn’t mind having them as Hot Joins. Unfortunately I don’t think we can have an 8v8 or other formats in competitive play because it would split the community too much. Queue times would increase rip. But yeah I wouldn’t mind the large Hot Joins.

Yeah! Then we can have 3 mesmer 4 revenant 1 tempest comps!

I agree with Supcutie. Make 8v8 hot joins and 5v5 ranked/unranked arenas.
