I have read the forums and I read the patch notes and nowhere did ANET ever tell us that our glory would simply be gone after this patch. I assumed that the glory merchant would remain there after the patch like the tournament ticket merchant did for months and months. This was completely unnecessary. Simply having one merchant there in one corner to allow people to spent their remaining glory would have hurt no one.

Oh wow, =( I only just started playing in pvp again after a break. This sucks! I know I had old glory too >.< I agree about the poor merchant in the corner. If people dont get any more glory they cant spend it =/ dangit.

They told it WAY before the patch came, so do not complain. Read things next time.

they did give you something like 3 months notice before hand, they even added vendors with better loot to spend your remaining glory on (which in my opinion was far more rewarding than the “reward” tracks)
they were very clear that glory was going!

while i did prefer the old glory system and think they should have made a “glory shop” as the new reward system they didn’t.
glory is gone, but you were given plenty of time and plenty of warning!

I agree with syke, the glory merchant should’ve remained there. Also, vast majority of gw2 population are in college so there timing was bad because we never had a chance to use up our unspent glory. I’ve never got an e-mail notification saying “we are going to get rid of glory, please spend your three quarters of a million glory you have left before we get rid of all your hard work.”
