Honestly, the last weekend was a blast to Q into Ranked with a full squad, because teams where actually Qing in anticipation of WTSIQ, but that quickly faded….. If there was a bracket’d AT’s that had —>REAL<-- rewards, and not the BS reward tracks, that PvPer’s just throw away because it takes up so much inventory space; I’m guessing we would see more team v teams in ranked Q, which could help the scene get better, which would make the bigger tournies a lot more competitive (we would start to see more teams take first!). This would also work great with a tier system.

You have 8 minutes of queue time between matches. Salvage the 2 items it gives you and BOOM DONE. How do you feel so overwhelmed by the reward tracks?

Also, what “real” reward do you want? Do you have any real suggestions or did you neglect to realize that this isn’t being posted to your tumblr where 1500 people will just say “OMFG THIS. THIS. IT’S JUST I CAN’T EVEN. THIS.”

The current rewards are crap. We need a system that rewards skill. The silver that players get for a win is an insult.

Players should compete for the top spots in the ladder. When people tryhard, they get better. Until then, tournaments will be boring and one-sided.

First off, I kinda just laughed at “You have 8 minutes of queue time between matches. Salvage the 2 items it gives you and BOOM DONE.” Why the hell would i want to trash my inventory more with useless kitten by salvaging… I have no use for mats lel. For the reward suggestions… honestly, specific rewards have already been mentioned a lot, and re-posting some of them would kind of be a waste of time. Anet knows what rewards would make us happy, they just don’t know how to implement it without causing a economy meltdown, or having PvE farmers flood PvP because it had better rewards.

I was actually just talking about this with someone.

People gotta play to win. There are several teams not built to win in the ESLs. No amount of scene building will fix that.
