Bring non-HoT queue option in pvp
There are many reasons for that, mainly because we wish to play a game with less carrying “passives”, CC, stab etc., as before.
Guy, you can belive or not, but before HoT there was More Passive things and more CC builds. I can tell you that before HoT there was the hambow warrior and the Decapper engi. They made so much CC in mid by themselves that play that again would be a nightmare for me.
Anyway, strip away a lot of player from the main PvP would only grant slower queue and a crying F2P community, simply why the Core classes are Totally unbalanced, simply why them was balanced to follow the Elite Specializzation.
Do you really want to make a slow queue totally unbalanced pvp full of crying F2P??
I disagree, because people would complain about warrior due to the buff in our defense line and banner or hambow or shout warrior would be Godly. And if I were you I’ll forgo this whole notion that pre-HoT pvp is better than what we have now. HOT SPECS have been tremendously NERFED. I repeat HOT SPECS HAVE BEEN TREMENDOUSLY NERFED. Your argument no longer hold ground.
Edit : the OP is guardian who just happened to have been buffed (core line) this season, how ironic.
To further elaborate on my point : Let’s look at core guardian which are hard to kill even with elite specs. Lots of class ( with elite specs) are having trouble killing them. How will this affect the game once elite specs are removed??
So this idea of pre-HOT pvp being better than what we have now is a myth.

Ew, I am doomed, now everyone knows that my goal is to faceroll people easily with my braindead OP class
More seriously, pvp before and after HoT are quite different, people might prefer one over an other. I can bring the best arguments and you can bring the best ones too, I am not sure any of us willl change his opinion. The goal of this post is more to know how many people think in one way or in the other, to see if it might be worth to eventually add this “option”.
