Guild Wars 2

I thought I understood what the difference was. I assumed that the better the box, either you’d get MORE items, or BETTER (subjective) items. After countless boxes I seem to get the same amount of items from a bronze and a gold, and I seem to get nothing special from the gold boxes. It’s like I’m throwing 800 away each time. I HAVE to be wrong about this. Maybe it’s just a CHANCE at better looking items and I am just SUPER unlucky.

it’s been awhile since i bought a gold chest but don’t those sometimes have glory boosters? when i hit rank 20 two days ago i must have bought 30 copper chests collecting the mats needed to make the dolyak set i wanted and didn’t notice a single glory booster.

Gold chests give you a chance to get items that are of a higher rank than your current one. Deer gold chests = chance for a dolyak item. Until significant changes are made, I just keep buying copper chests and salvage everything for materials.

So then what do you get for the silver? Less chance of a higher rank item?
