Buff lord at foefire already
I disagree, I think the lord is one of the mechanics that makes matches fun and entertaining to watch. Some of the best matches in GW2 pro scene has been played on Foefire/Temple because of the come back potentials and possible upsets.
Yea you like the fact the weaker team can win then, sorry but thats not real pvp to me. The strongest team should always win, and also the buffs at temple doesnt break the gameplay as much as lord on foefire does.
Yes, the lord is too weak. It should have his health trippled and get some stronger skills.
If your team can’t stop enemy team from killing lord, then your team is the weaker team and deserved to lose. Just sayin…

“We can’t keep the enemy team from killing lord, they suck!”

Did you even see how fast some classes/builds can solo the lord?
2v1ing the lord is easy, but 1 player plus the adds plus the lord itself should easily be able to hold off the push
Lord definitely needs some buff. Some classes (sup DH) can drop him so fast, you won’t even get chance to heal him.

Sure, some classes can do it fast; but that’s why you watch your map, keep an eye out for things and listen to the oh so obvious “your base is under attack” which gives you enough time to respond and get someone there if necessary. It’s very much so possible to defend your lord for a reasonable amount of time, I’ve seen it.

I didnt have any issues with the lord prior to the last meta change. Since we now have a huge clusterferk of damage spammed out like never before, one person can actually solo the lord now. When it requires max 2 people to kill the lord and with only two they can kill the lord in a few seconds, how the ferk do you think the team can be there in time? It just require right classes at lord and its dead in a few seconds.

If your gate is open and losing your lord would cause issues for your team, why do you leave him unprotected?
If your gate is not open, why do you ignore the warnings?

People dont ignore the warnings but when you get the warning and start running, before you hit the doors to go inside its dead. Thats what i mean by the damage is too high for the lord to have so little hp right now. 150 points for a faceroll is redicilous.

Here is the problem, even if you actually follow enemy to lord sometimes, as i said, you won’t even get chance to heal lord. DH are biggest offended in my opinion due to instant traps one shotting NPCs. You can’t interrupt traps.

1) You can open the gates before killing the lord and come back later
2) The lord can be soloed before the announcer even gives you the message that the lord is under attack

Can’t say that happened to me yet, not gonna say you’re lying though.
Just how I see it; since you’re aware that lord drops really, really fast currently you have to keep an eye on eventual lord-rushs which could put you into a bad position/make you lose the game and try to stop them before it even starts.
If they end up buffing lord then sure, I wouldn’t have a problem with that, but as long as they don’t (and I kinda see them not doing it because they’d eventually have to readjust it again and again and again… depending on the current balance/meta) you’ll have to adapt.
@Malediktus: See the questions I asked above.
//Of course I’m just talking from my experience here, which is that I’ve not seen lord just dropping before there was any time to react, even with some high damage comps going for him.

They can easily solve it with lord only giving 50 points. Wallah! Its not worth more than 50 points at this stage when its only slightly harder than the beasts at forest.
