Excellent idea
Indeed this would help the solo queue hell you go through when you can’t coordinate with your friends when to pvp
if i go solo it’s because i want to go solo….
i wouldn’t make something that makes u instantly queue with them but “recently played / in party with” with track of 1-3 recent groups. could be somekind of side menu for friends list.
So you suggest the same thing GW1 Random Arenas had.

Yea Rym is right. GW 1 if you win you continue. This PvP arena system here is awful. First you can’t queue from PvE world like.. in any other MMO. So you stand bored or you kill standing NPCs etc. in Hotm. And even if you win, guess what, back to loading screen to hotm so you can queue again. Really Anet? Really? We all know you can do better. ^^
If the team wins just let them join in queue, someone leaves? Ok, find them a new guy. Lets make PvP a bit more fun for those who still play it.
Yes.
A moose. It was a moose.

It’s hysterical that 5 randoms who happen to be in a party is why constitutes as a premade to some people now wonder so many people are so (don’t you dare give me an infraction for this) whiny.

Make it so.
in gw1 sync droppers, and instant quitters, killed the playerbase.
I’m sure thats why gw2 gave up on that system. Its very hard to stop unsportmanlike players, who only want to play with certain people, and will instantly quit a match otherwise.
What happened in gw1, is after a while you could not even get a match going because of people constantly quitting and trying to sync. At least in gw2 there is less instant quits over having no healer on team …lol
I"m sure in gw2 you end up on a premade team as much as you end up fighting against one so it evens out in the long run. The more people that are playing, the better any matchmaking system is. I for one would rather not have long qeue times.

You seem to be talking about random arena though from GW 1. In Team Arena or Alliance wars etc. you could take your team if I remember correctly. Here you can take premade with you so that should fix leaving. Also no healer as you say helps. ^^
Yes.

Pretty good idea imo !
yes exactly. the random arena in gw1. people would love to have that back for solo qeues. unfortunately, the “premade” type crowd won’t be able to be stopped.
the problem is it becomes accepted in the community and really should be discouraged as unsporstmanlike.
Very well. I shall allow it.

Why would people sync when they can just duo queue?

Syncing wasn’t so bad, I think I faced it not more then once a week. Big grow of sync teams happened mostly after TA removal. In GW2 we have everything vise-versa. Only TA and no RA.
Leavers, well I wish you could at least /resign in GW2, wasting your time playing 5 man solo vs 5 man premade is not the best development of game.

Syncing was so bad in gw1, eventually it was impossible to even get a random arena match started. Because people would quit the match as soon as it started. I would literally go 10 qeues in a row sometimes with out a match even starting due to people quitting. And then if a match actually did start, I would get mopped up by a premade sync team, way worse then any ranked match in gw2…lmao.
