So I’ve been hoarding a lot of PvP reward track boxes hoping to open them when we get the “Call of the Mist” or “Greater Call of the Mist” buff. I know we get the buff when a PvP tournament is going on but I couldn’t find any PvP tournament schedule on the net. If anyone knows anything about when we might get the buff, please let me know. By the way, I’m on NA server so there’s a chance that European tournaments might not affect me.
As far as I’ve seen, there isn’t any “inquiry” option on GW2 support system and I couldn’t get any definitive answer from facebook groups. So I decided to make a post here. If it violates any ROE, I’m ok with deleting the post. Thanks in advance

Someone who pays more attention to esports might know more, but my impression is that there isn’t a schedule available because one hasn’t been set yet – the league system in general seems to be in a state of flux at the moment. Your best bet may be to look at the timing of past tournaments. I wouldn’t bank on it coming up again earlier than February, though, and even that might be pushing it: this year they seemed to only give it for the finals, not the qualifiers as they have done in the past.

Unless you exclusively PvP, my recommendation would probably be to just open the boxes and salvage blues and greens for the luck unless you’re already maxed out: the contribution to your account MF now will probably do more for you than waiting for the buff. Once an ESL league starts – or at least we know when one will – it might be worth holding onto them, but at this stage the next time we get the buff could be half a year away.
