For Ranked I mean – I thought I read that it would cost you DC. I may be smoking crack on this one…just want to make sure i’m not.

This will cost you a desertion (-3 pts) on leader boards. They will most likely implement a (30s?) grace period but it is not yet in place. So if you do not care about your leader board ranking. Go right ahead If you do, then don’t switch.

are there more information regarding this issue?
like rearranging traits or switching charac while waiting for players, that still take away 3 pts?

re-arranging traits will not result in desertion (-3 ladder points)

switching characters will.
