Hey guys,

I’m really enjoying the quickplay tournaments and generally do pretty well. I’m currently rank 13 (I just came back after a long absence), so I know I don’t have access to a lot of the higher rank gear for quite awhile. However, I don’t see any paid tournaments (I think they’ve been removed?). All the links I can find that reference armor I want (Inquest in particular) claim you need Paid Tournament Tokens to create them.

How do I get them now that Paid Tournaments don’t exist? I’ve won a fair share of Free Tournaments and have yet to see any Paid Tokens from them (received a few Free Tokens when salvaging the gear I already have). Am I just unlucky and you can get the Paid stuff from the Free tournaments now or am I missing something?

If someone has a link to an up-to-date site with all the Mystic Forge combinations, I would love you forever <3.

Paid Tournaments = 2- Team Tournaments. If you solo queue and you win, you will get a chest, and it will have gear inside. I suggest if you want new gear, don’t salvage. But if you want specific items, salvage it.

PvP Salvaging and Crafting is all RNG.

So the 2-Team Tournaments give both Free and Paid Tournament gear (which can salvage into the tokens) and I’ve just been fairly unlucky?

Is the Paid stuff more rare than the Free stuff or do we know?

The items of the new “Match Win Chest” from 2-team tournaments can randomly be salvaged into both free and paid tournament tokens. I don’t really remember the chances, but it seems likely that paid tokens are rarer.
