If they showed ranks then the low rank PvE/WvW players would get harassed even more than they are now by angry PvP kids!

Its not the ranks anymore, if they have a legendary they are instant noob!

Yea, people just put way too much stock into what a rank means. A lot of people never realized that just because you played a ton of PvP games doesn’t mean you’re a pro and just because you don’t spend every waking hour in PvP doesn’t mean you’re a scrub.

Ranks dont really matter beyond 30-40 or in a rare case even before that. The horrible MMR system pairs rank 10s with rank 80 that are or have been consistent top 100 players tho.

so just show ranks of the enemy or just people in the mists
