Just let us que for PVP games outside the heart of the mists prison already … I am so bored right now! Why purposefully make your game a boring waiting marathon? Why are we are trapped in a place designed to be purposefully be boring?

Agreed, they had this back in the day (and I don’t know why they took it out) but they said they cant because when people changed maps they would have to step out of que then re-que after. Honestly, I would have zero problem with this, and that would help get all of those pve players more into pvp. I really hope they do, it is obvious that the player base wants this as a feature.

Topher but then you would be forced to be in one map – sure, full of interestimg stuff with a lot of exciting things to do – but you would be still stuck in one map…

Besides, if you only use solo Q during the main times, the Q is not as long…. and the teams that result out of those short Q’s are a fair bunsh of good mixed players! </sarcasm>

Dont like? Go outside for a walk, slaughter some moas, pick some rocks and flowers… nobody is holding you there except for you.

You can even go outside into real life lol.

But why.
You can kill the Engi NPC,whom btw until recently I thought was a male Asura,for the
millionth time.
Or kill the Golems!
Or fire the cannons and the trebs and watch the explosions.
Or try to fly to the island to the north and then be ported back to the portaL
You can also pop a Quaggan tonic and glide around.
You can try and find all the spots with unfinished and mismatched textures in the perimeter of the map.
You can go and say hi to the Ranger NPC.The poor guy was inside a mountain all that time,show some appreciation.
You can kill the animals and the lord without having your team telling you “don’t go animal” and “don’t go lord”.
You can glide to the statue near the vendors and take a screenshot with your toon on it’s head.
You can stand in front of the portal and spam your combat skills.
You can stand still at the respawn spot and try to find you character among all the other chars.
You can browse the tp.
You can browse your bank.
You can browse your wardrobe.
You can explore the underwater area
You can put out a fun box.
You can use fireworks.
You can grab popcorn and start a conversation in the chat about how WoW PvP is better.
You can walk the map from north to south and east to west,backwards.
That might take sometime.

I play youtube or movies while waiting for the queue. Or possibly some other game in offpeak time

Wouldn’t it lead to a lot of people declining and wasting the time of those who accept? Say you queue, enter PVE, get involved in an event, get the match ready message. Well depends on the event, I don’t think many people would hesitate to accept halfway through Snow Norn Army but what about the big ones like Tequatl?

Sinmir make a lonfer pebalty for declining (tgat includes -50% luck or similar) and it won’t lead to something like that

Part of the reasons they did it was to make a false impression that pvp had alot of players queueing at once.

This is one of the main reasons I don’t play this game much. I like to level / do stuff while I’m queued for pvp, and it drives me nuts that I can’t do that in GW2. Since I can in so many other games, GW2 is on the bottom of my play list.
