Power Bunkers by default can’t really do much in the way of damage, and most non bunker power classes can shrug their damage off. So I’d actually prefer it
Don’t have any issues with condi classes but i’m just a power DH.

That zerk meta again “OMG TO FUNNY” you got be trolling. Also why so the same people whining and complaining About condi thiefs and mesmers can complain about thief spamming Heart seeker and come out stealth And one shot you. since that work so well before That why we got stuck with condi meta. And how in hell is come out stealth and one shooting some one skill??? It was annoy bad meta

So no condi and no bunker…. I’m guessing you currently play a frustrated burst class? Wouldn’t it be fun if the first person to land their combo won every time… oh wait we’ve been there done that. I’ll take even this meta over that.

If you are dying in 1 burst you need to practice more. There are so many ways to negate an opening burst it’s really your fault if you go down

That can still happen. It just changed from Power (barring Thieves and to a lesser extent, Revenants) to CC+Condibombs.

half this reply is a disorganized complaint about thief. there are better ways to balance thief / mesmer stealth attacks than shifting the entire meta to passive play
Which condi and which bunker specs are you complaining about specifically?
if power dragonhunter were meta we’d pretty much have a perfect split between power DPS, condi DPS and bunkers

Well people will always complain about condis even when they are balaced or underperforming. It has negativ psycological effects and some don´t want to decide what to put on the toolbar. Picking a condi defence will weaken them agaisnt power builds …
I kill much faster and often let people die helpless within 5-10 seconds with my power warrior and no one complanis. But if i kill someone with condies after 30-60 seconds fighting they go ranting …
But i agree there should be looked at a few weapon skills that are basically power but dish out unncecessary side condis and some condi “Bursts” should propably be adapted for less stacks and more duration or lower cooldowns to compensate.

Only 3 condi specs were viable during S3 and they weren’t even bunkers:
- Berserker
- Chronomancer
- Reaper
Scrappers & Tempests were your only bunky classes. Scrappers being physical and Tempests just not dealing much DPS at all, regardless of it’s mixture of physical/condi.

All really. The entire game is kitten now.
Everything since June of 2015 has revolved around an extremely horrible game design stance. Balance back then was VERY close to being perfect if they would have nerfed certain classes/builds, but they went all in on the power creep.
Druids are not efficient bunker/point holders or even team support honestly. They require much stealthing to survive on point “which inevitably losses nodes” and focus so much on self sustain that they don’t really get the leeway to heal the party in spvp. They also must bail points entirely to survive when 2v1 focused. Druid is a terrible team support bunker spec but a great side node 1v1er.

Yeah, please don’t go back to the power meta that lasted up until post HoT release. The mix of condi and power in current meta is fine, it’s the details that need to be worked out (Scrapper CD’s, condi burst vs defence, passives and why they existed)
As a side note, I’m more bunker playing GS power mesmer wth Demolisher amulet than when playing condi mesmer with Viper amulet…
It also deals better burst damage, has more survivability and has access to boon strip from Domination.

Druid has the advantage in both those match ups. But they still need to play at a decently close level to their opponents to win as it should be. A build shouldn’t allow you to succeed in your match ups even if you are largely out played.
