A-net you are killing spvp right now with this long wait between seasons. PVP is awful. The population is tiny right now and the matches are horrible. The vast majority are blow outs because there are not many decent players and most people suck so the matches are garbage. There is no reason to spvp. All in all a pretty unacceptable situation.

I don’t think the devs care at this point. They still get paid regardless so why hurry ¯\(?)/¯

If they don’t remove their stupid 50/50 system….nobody will care about their season…

Lol and yet you still decide to play GW2, despite all of the other actual competitive PvP games out at the moment.

If a game stops allowing me to have fun and makes me upset after a period of time. I look for other ones. Many other fishes in the sea. Like many other crying about broken MM, I really don’t buy that yall truly want competition but easy mode wins like those that play against you get. There is a big difference.

Overwatch is the same if not worse. I just want Rank to start so I have something else to do. For now, i’m playing other games.

There are no other fishes in the sea…if not GW2 would have 50% less population

It really feels like there is something like 50% system if you are full solo player. Which makes sure you don’t get much higher than 50%
Most of the time you have some easy matches and some no chance matches mixed which makes up for 50%. Good balanced soloq matches are rare as white raven. It doesn’t matter how i change tactic and playstyle i always end up around 50% 51% Tried almost every tactic, i can think of possible. It’s just the people you get in soloq about 50% of the time you get some decent solo players and 50% you get a pug team that can’t kill anything and also die fast and don’t know anything about a bit of teamplay.
Also i get some matches where enemy team full boon heavy and my pug team isn’t this is when i think at start: Lets try it but kitten again a no chance match where enemy don’t die to anything, stacked boon heavy classes, survive everything and me and my pug team dies and getting farmed.

i rather wait longer than play another season 4 garbage Matchmaking again.

Same I’d rather wait 4-5 months and let them iron out the kinks rather than subject myself to the current system.

I prefer if they never make a pvp season again

And the sad fact is. Since HoT both ESO and mainly BDO have been sucking away GW2 players. That before we talk about the competitive MOBA scene. And last I’ve check the amount of players playing WvW and PvP in GW2 is at a all time low. That is also fact. GW2 may actually have more then %50 less players in both WvW and PvP game modes then pre HoT.

There are loads of fishes in the sea. However none of them will reward players for just mindlessly zerging and pressing 1,1,1,1,2,3,4,5, and and allow such players to win by default. Which is truly why GW2 haven’t completely imploded yet because, GW2 is the perfect outlet for non competitive super casual players to feel good and not get stomped by other players with actually skill.

Date of new season kinda worries me…
They need put 2 months of ranked somewhere before next big balance update and yet before they start they have to do/improve some much stuff like…
- Ranked system as whole
-MMr
- Rewarding (design new legendary thing)
-Do somekind of amulet balanace…

and they have only two weeks left…
