They won’t be balancing them instead ways to deal with them better will be put into the game so basically you will be forced to run a class/build just to deal with op ele specs. Got to love Build Bores 2 the game that said you could play how you like and be competitive and totally lied.

I don’t know if they ever said “you can play how you like and be competitive” but if they did say that and you believed it…. yea… that’s something else entirely.

Build Wars was always going to happen, bunkers are killed by conditions build, conditions are countered by cleansing builds, cleansing is countered by constant reapplication builds, burst builds kill anyone remotely squishy and bunkers counter burst builds.

Complaining about Build Wars is like complaining that the sun comes up in the morning. It’s in pretty much every game.

Bro they already balanced eles. They nerfed quickness and increased banner stats.

Frankly, I’m tired of every patch doing nothing to balance a class that it easily the strongest pvp class in the game. People have been complaining about Eles for a very long time, and ANet still seems to think the class does not need anything done to fix what everyone is complaining about.

I normally don’t start threads like this, but it’s just so frustrating getting destroyed by someone because I’m just outclassed, and absolutely nothing is being done to resolve the issue.

Agreed, it’s just spam now. Meanwhile my ele just died to a backstab for 10k damage in tPvP and then hit by eviscerate for 8k. I got hit by heart seeker that did 5.9k earlier and got mugged for nearly 7k then Ice shard stabbed for 4k

This is either you are not using proper build or playing it incorrectly.

Wait…so now you need the correct build and need to play it in the correct way in order to be OP?So once we nerf this “OP” build, everything else will fall in the same scene as depicted by @Grizledorf, where regardless of what spec you use on ele you’ll get killed by a thief with those numbers…it’s extremely hard for me to see this game become a serious e-sport material any time soon

I just want an ETA on the next patch, period. There is no scheduled content update, so it is vague as to whether we will even see a patch in April.

The game really shouldn’t of even been released with the state it’s in (outside of PvE). It’s insane that it is taking this long to implement key features and important balances, when guild wars 1 at least launched with the features it needed (spectator mode, leaderboards). Regression…

How about trying different builds instead of asking the devs to adapt one class you can’t beat with your build?

We knew from day 1 it was going to be Build Wars. Only thing is the implication that by limiting skill selection to 5-10 they could at the very least make sure every weapon set on 1-5 was viable and balance better.

Yeah quickness nerf totally ruined bunker and hybrid eles…poor guys, those dam warriors will be the next they can still land 2 hits while using hb!! Nerf them!

I cant help but notice the sudden appearance of posts to nerf us eles when, coincidentally, spirit watch is in the rotation….

It was the same few weeks ago when Spirit watch was in rotation, the week that Kylo was the map you couldn’t find any ele QQ thread except of course the ones opened by the same 2-3 die hard haters( no need to name them…they’re pretty obvious), until the next map get in rotation, you can easily expect 3-4 more QQ ele threads with the same 2-3 die hard haters making their contribution
