PvP’ers got nothing but completely broken meta game this expansion. Can we atleast stop facing premades when queueing solo? Plz… Its getting ridicilous facing the same premade (5man) 3 times in a row when im solo.

WTF you talking about, it clearly says which one is on a premade right after the match ends on the end game board, if there are people around believing that everytime they get stomped is a premade well, they should just forget that Hotm exists

quit whining and just get good.

my casual pvp guild group of 3 – 5 players get rekt by full 5 man solo q pug groups often.

Wtf I beat premades all the time as soloq. Probably more wins than vs other soloq lol

theres a diff between a casual team of guildies in a team and an actual 5 man pre made with comms.

I often play with 2 to 3 guildies and we rarely use comms. Because of this we get matched against other premades and more often than not we lose. I do better when in solo q or with just 1 other guildie.

They don’t seem to want to bring solo q back so I think you’re out of luck unfortunately.

Some thoughts-

• Premade’s will be all playing Ranked come early December when the new season starts. They will be facing each other competing for pips in guild league division rank, leaving those behind who only care about lone wolf pvp to PUG groups

• The meta is not broken. The meta has just changed to be (to no suprise) all Elite Specialization focused. Going by MetaBattle and looking at what the top ESL streamers are up to, if you intend to be competitive now you need 3-4 on your team running one or more of these builds

Dragonhunter – Meditrapper
Druid – Celestial Avatar
Herald – Power Shiro
Scrapper – Celestial Hammer
Tempest – Celestial Auramancer

D/D Ele? No longer meta… Burn Guardian or Meditation DPS? No longer meta. For better or worse the five builds above are your Conquest meta. Learn to play one of them or you’ll likely be pulling your team down. Just because you old build is no longer as effective as it was does not mean meta is “broken”, it’s just evolved for the elite specs.

A few good players teaming up together to bypass team arrangement, making team composition skewed. That’s pretty much as far as it goes. It takes a lot more than just being in the party to be a premade. And it’s usually obvious since the first few seconds if you’re up against REAL premade: where each of them heads to, class combination, spec combination, confidence & aggressiveness, etc.

Real premade are still not that abundant in PVP. I play almost every day and maybe I face a full premade once every two weeks.

With the guild team as now an entity that will receive it’s own leader board and be the entity that places a team in the league system. The paradigm is set to shift completely away from the solo lone wolf who likes the envision himself the savior of the pug group. In the past there has been no real strong incentive in game for players to form “true pre-mades” but with the new guild pvp team option + guild team leader boards + leagues (which are 100% about guild teams) again the focus has shifted and teams have much more incentive to be on comms.

This is actually very well put.

I’m a one man premade. So this hurts my feelings to read such a powerful statement.

Can we get a screenshot of this 3 times in a row vs the same 5 man pls? Otherwise this is more Dunning-Kruger effect of you pretending your opponents are premade-5-man-super-guild-TS-Pro-League-style-coordination-monsters when they are in fact a duo or maybe a trio casually beating you.

Negative. Well not quite.

It only takes 3 members to be in party (of the same guild) for the game detect as Premade.

I remember when once I got marked as part of a Guild I never joined before while SoloQ because of the rest of the team.

Then again, fighting 3 people on Voice while soloQ warrants a straight defeat. Most of the time. (won’t deny that).

Premades isn’t all roses tough. Once your MMR rises a little you start getting matches against REAL full premades and then everything hits the fan.

i saw somebody saying metabattle.com has actually killed gw2 by giving all the people decent build.

I have also been facing consistent premades in unranked, It actually makes me want to stop playing the game. I don’t have a guild interested in a full 5v5 team, and all I do is solo queue anyways. For the most part they have removed the fun in the game for me. well…black desert inc.

Just don’t play the matches you don’t want to play like me.

Clearly ANet don’t give a kitten about the situation of nearly every match being a waste of time.

Edit: I just played against 3 different 5-man premades (one of them twice) in the last 5 games. It clearly does happen, so anyone doubting this needs to pipe down. It’s sad that in just under 2 hours of playing GW2 I haven’t had a chance to play the game.
