i have all the classes and i could really use some templates from gw1. for when i want to switch out builds in the mists and i need a specific build for the composition our team is running

Oh the good old times when you could press a key and choose all your equip (weapons, runes, mods) and save/load it in a file.
Same for Builds.

in PvP, not having this feature got me a bit upset. I hate when i want to try a new build. Its so annoying to change it and keep records of the old one…

I’m sure this is coming. Some things, like this, you think would be part of release but oh well.

that’s why i think its something that could make Anet a good bit of money

i run the game through Steam so i can take screenshots of my builds and hit a button to bring up the screenshots ingame

I would certainly buy such thing.

This is something that needs to happen.

Not only does it allow current players to save their own builds, but it also means that ArenaNet can make builds that applies to new players, thereby making the entry to sPvP a bit easier. As it is now, having to make your own build, or playing with an inferior build, scares a lot of potential players away. But if these new players had three builds to pick from, for each profession, they could focus on playing the game first. And then focus on making a build of their own, after they’ve gotten to know the game better.

I think they should make the templates like they do with character slots. Make the first three custom templates free, and then sell more in the cash shop. Account wide of curse.

That would be a fantastic convenience/luxury, but should it be a priority?

both because Anet is full of talented people and if they could spit out those holiday events and the lost shores as quick as they did I’m sure they would have no problem coming out with a pvp patch….with templates

Don’t get me wrong…that was really nice to have.

This should be a priority. Just imagine, if you play as elementalist for your team, when you participate in a tournament you play several maps. You could and should use more than 1 build deppending on your team strategy. Loading them manually is keeping people from adapt builds for each particular map.

It does’t matter if it is on point capture or other game mode.

I’ll leave a screen from GW1 so you can see how equip customization was so much simple.
