Cancerous game
I imagine myself working at Anets balance team. My mission would be to achieve the best possible balance by small iterations. Listening to player, beta testers and statistics feedback, making gradual changes. Something like evolution.
Then I wonder how the current devs are so secrative and unresponsive, uneffective and downright slow. I think its because they are held in isolated chambers underneath the Anet office, away from all the critisizm.
BTW: the biggest problem is that forum devs are faster than balance devs

Why do you need to listen to players if potatos like me can see their class is being killed off by looking at the traits on paper alone? A professional should see this long before I do.

Because not all devs have the abilities that potatoes have.

On more serious note: while i can understand that they can’t foresee all the imbalance their skill/class design might cause there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for current pvp system. There are plenty of games that have working pvp systems- IS IT THAT HARD to copy paste/learn from them!???
