Thanks for posting this, i’ll include this in my weekly report along with the other items that do not work in the heart of the mists (there’s a few).

I believe you cannot use the Mystic Forge Conduit in the mists either.

In my opinion, not a big deal.

Semi related – what’s the point of using transform tonics and doing costume brawl if you can’t make progress on King of the Costume Brawl in the PvP lobby? At least if that worked it’d be something to do while waiting for queues.

To me, I was able to obtain progress. Maybe a glitch? Are you positive you’re able to get a golden crown over your head?

There’s lots of things that should be usable in the Heart but are not.

The list should be definitely increased, including, but not limited to:

• Anything that can get you Costume brawl skills.
• The Mystic Forge conduit.
• All gizmos, including the Birthday Blaster.
• Any and all containers (there’s many that can’t be used there, like those from gathering wood, and many from the karmic converter).
• All consumables, specially those that give exp or booster effects.

You get the golden crown over your head but the achievement that tracks how many wins (Under General > Community) does not increase when you win in the PvP lobby. I’ve since finished it so I can’t test that anymore, but last I checked a few months back you got no progress on the achievement despite getting the crown over your head when costume brawling in the mists. Doesn’t matter to me anymore, but it’s still a bug (maybe intended?) and someone else might care if they’re trying to do something semi-productive while waiting for queues.
