Hi Everyone.

I’m not a hardcore sPvPer but i have a problem in capture point maps.

When a point is safe to capture, then only 1 player is enough to capture that point. It is best practice that other players leave the capture point and go for other points or objectives.

The problem is that other player doesnt leave the capture point because they will not gain the point. I see 5 ppl capturing one point while enemy is getting other points. Most of the time i wanna leave the capture point but i wont want to. Because i just secure the capture point myself and other players just came for free points.

The current system doesnt favour people who defends points and does succesfull pvping. When i see more than 1 people on a capture point and leave that point and go for defending other points i usually end up with lowest point in the game while being more usefull to the team.

people are not playing seriously in hot join learn to fight and other profs skills there and then switch to tournaments if you want serious games and find some friends to play with, its not funny when you solo join and your enemies are team of 5 people on team speak

They need to make it like other evens. I mean if you need to kill a champ in PvE then you don’t need to to 100 percent damage. Should be enough to stand 1 second at the point.

Good idea. One tick of caping should be enough to get point for it. And there is still no recognition for all the stuff that actually win a lot of games (staling etc.). I understand why there was no when game launched (hard to grasp such elusive tasks in numbers), but hey – it’s more than a half year later and there was no even slightest attempts to change the situation.
Before game launched, Anet stated they are looking into competitive PvP as a opportunity to make new e-sport and they gonna treat PvP very seriously. Since launch PvP players didn’t experience any signs of that attitude. Balancing aside, PvP had what? Added daily placeholder, that was months later replaced by daily chores. 2 new maps, that I actually like, but can’t honestly say they are best thing around. If anything they’re make zerging easy, so the daily can be finished with as little effort that is possible. Anything more? Ah, yes. New navigation system to hotjoins, mixed with spectator mode. I understand necessity of spectator mode for some, but I don’t care. New navigation is confusing at first sight and clunky when You get used to it. And there are changes to tournaments (1 match instead of 3 wining strike, etc.) that swing in good direction, just to be hit back by poor daily changes (flood zergers and intensification of AFKers and leavers tied to this).
No love for PvP. Good that I’m mainly PvE player
