Can we swap character during a Ranked game? If not then at least can we swap a character before the game begins?
I don’t know why I was under the impression that I would receive abandon if I would do such thing.

You can swap.
Now if you’re asking… if continuous swapping will = dishonor? I’m not too sure on that..

I read something that if you swap in-game then you will get dishonor points(I may be wrong), Im not sure about before the patch starts but if you do that then the match might be unbalanced.

There still should be a grace period when you can swap characters, not sure how long it is but swapping once should be okay. I don’t think dishonor is activated, yet.

Seems there are only 2 ways to get dishonor, to not accept the pvp match prompt or to leave a match in-game

“Queue Dodge (3 stacks) — Failing to accept a match queue prompt

Abandon (10 stacks) — Leaving a match. Disconnecting, relogging, or changing characters during a match does not grant dishonorable, with some exceptions being kicked by AFK detection automatically or being absent from a match when the match has ended"
