So let me be the 324012345th poster about this issue, but lets take a calm approach:

Is it possible that there are players who are really so bad at this game that one cant help but to think they are bots*?

A) If it is possible, then how the hell do they get in the same match with people who at least have some clue, experience and put in effort to be at least as good as mid gold tier is supposed to represent?

B) If its not, then how come Anet keeps letting these posts ‘fly by’ by the hundreds and do nothing?

• - symptoms of being a possible bot:

No reaction to team chat. Except for an occasional ‘lol’. (Usually out of context.)

Always running to the closest contested or enemy-held point and engaging even if its 1v5. Never defending or free-capping a point, even if the occasion is present.

3 of them dieing to one enemy player in 5-8 seconds, no major CDs used. (Druid going down 3-4 times without once using signet of stone.)

Running in to fight after a respawn even when the score is 490-3xx or lover – so basically they dont even have a chance to reach a point on the map where there is a cap point or a fight going on…

And many-many more… my point with these is that they seem to have no tactical thinking. Not even a very basic one. I just find it hard to believe that there are enough bad players to fill up the spots in all these matches…

I do believe there are players that bad in this game.

“Casual” for GW2 is a shockingly low floor. The worst players I’ve seen in other games seem by default a step above the worst players I’ve met here. This holds true for my experience in both pvp and pve.

Welcome to gold, I assume. Maybe next season RNG will favour you in placement.
