Guild Wars 2

Why is it that I don’t have to listen to enemies chirp or cry via map chat in WvW but I do in PvP? Just asking out of curiosity. Last night I killed a thief and warrior in a 2v1 and bout 5 min later they got me back and started spamming ignorant comments for no reason at all. Gets irritating after awhile. I know I could filter what I see but it’ll still pop up above their heads.

just think about it yourself, if you play a profession you are good at and you are so sure you’d beat the guy and you don’t due to lucky dodges or missed attacks, you feel eager to come back to destroy him.
well, some in such cases not only feels it, but feels the urge to say it. these people don’t know how to shut up but it’s normal to find these people. this never happens in wvw although i’ve seen flames about commanders who suck lol.

all in all, the solution is to just click the block button.
