Hey peeps,

does the default chat (team) work in SPvP? I mean, can the others read what I’m writing in there?

I keep saying “inc xy”, “come attack zx” or something like that and not once did ANYONE answer. Came to the conclusion that the chat doesn’t work.

I mean, Alliance side in WoW talks more in a BG than what I’ve seen so far in SPvP :P

Can anyone confirm that it works?

It works but people are to lazy (including me) to go ahead and type a response. I’d go to the location you’d called for help but i woundt go and type first. The thing is if you want communication in you sPvP you should find a guild with like TS or a simular voice chat program to communicate.

Automatically switches to “team” (or /team probably) as I come in a BG.

Thank you for the response. At least now I know people can actually read what I said.
I figure it is easier playing over Skype/TS but I can’t seem to find a guild that is;
a) social
b) into PvP

It’s just that noone ever answered or wrote anything, so I thought maybe it just doesn’t work. Oh well, as long as they read and respond to inc calls I’m fine

I’m about 99% certain that /map is exactly what it says it is, map chat for both teams. So, I really don’t recommend posting your strategies in map chat during a match. /team is the appropriate chat channel, and yes it does work, but I guess people just aren’t responding to you so far.
