The wiki for matchmaking makes it seem like the ratings are shared, the only difference is that you can queue with more team members and the queue deviates shorter in duration.

I’ve done a few unranked matches and it does seem that those in it are the same rating as me (added them to friends list and confirmed it.)

Are these shared or is it a coincidence?

Honestly it would be great news if it was shared, that way we can play on alts and know how we would perform.

Last time I heard, the MMR and matchmaking systems are different in Unranked (and my personal experience confirms this)
