The release page for this month’s patch includes as one of the two PvP-related items “Two Team Rated Play in PvP”. But the description there is exactly what paids are right now and have been for the last three weeks. If so, it seems disingenuous to include that in the page for this patch when it’s not a new feature and won’t be new to the patch.

Is that bullet point just referring to the current paid format or will we see genuinely new features related to ranked play in the patch? Are you going to reimagine the paid format (drop the pointless ticket sink, rework QPs to be slightly less meaningless, otherwise fix rewards)? Or can we expect to see the rating-related features we need, like a ladder? I’m hoping for both, or at least for a ladder, but fearing we’ll actually just get some pointless tweaking of paid rewards.

its also one of the wetdreams i’ve had for this games pvp.

IMO the febuary pvp patch is just like all other patches in that it is entirely pve focussed. I think the pve population of this game is simply insane and that it is resulting in them focussing on keeping these players because this game has had the sort of start you need to become the biggest game in the world.

A casulty of that seems to be the pvp in this game. Logic would suggest the game being ridiculously succesful would help us to get pvp updates but it seems they are just focusing on pve. tbh.

Nobody knows till the patch is live but essentially all we are getting is 1 new map and no new features. That is it. If there isnt a ladder in the patch notes then expect alot of (justified imo) QQ from the pvp community.

OP it’s like what you’re saying. It’s just a re-hash of what we already have. But the current system was initially released “just for testing” so they are re-hashing it as a new feature lol.

It means solo queue will be implemented.
