If more than one of the same class is detected on a team, all members on the team with the same class lose 5 % hp per second once the match starts. Zero affect on queue times.

Just disable class stacking problem solved. With class stacking the MM system can create some very unfair and annoying solo matches. Just for example: stacked DH’s trap everything + cc the hell out of you. You lose all control of your character and eat the burst.

Class stacking isn’t a problem and never has been. Power creep and bad HoT design and balance issues are the problem.

That sounds just like the kind of idea Anet would think of instead of actually balancing the game.

Also, this could only work (if it could work in the first place) when the stacked professions are together on a map. Two DHs are separate parts of a map aren’t really that big of an issue. It’s when they’re together that their true strength is shown.

The game should look at amulets/traits and try to put certain archetypes/roles on both teams. If it did that no need for class limits.
