Cleaning up the sewage.
I play LoL on the occasion and I have all chat muted. Map chat is the exact same thing, a banter tool. Don’t like it, mute it. If you see a teammate getting caught up in it, tell em to mute it.

giving advice to any one on NA is a worthless venture. losing because ur team is too busy raging at the obvious trolls in map chat could be easily remedied by removing said map chat.
And I dont disagree with you, but there are players who enjoy this banter tool thoroughly, especially in any game amongst the top few % of players who will run into each other repeatedly and tease each other (or outright flame). I believe its enough that ANet has given players the block and report functions (as effective as the report function is). The other day, I saw two toxic players back to back. Immediate blocks and went on my way.
So because a small fraction of players abuse it, none of us can have it? No thanks.
You can ignore that player and I think you can make a custom chat without map chat.
It’s a valid tactic to play mind games with your enemies as much as it is encouraging allies even when they die….
Have some pre-made text ready to go in local chat, rowdy up the enemies into focusing you instead of your Nec, win fight and provoke them for the next fight.
….. And Elementalist.
Nah, grow some thicker skin. Salt from the enemy team is a nice bonus. Its your own team, and at that point just mute them.
I don’t respect people who hate “toxicity”, because those players usually are the ones that say gg when they win and complain when they lose.

Ur talking about a completely different issue. Next time try to read more thoroughly.
