Guild Wars 2

I’m new to gw2, I’ve been playing about a month, mostly thief spvp. the 5 skill with dagger off-hand Cloak and daggers seems weak as hell and a waste of 6 initiate unless escaping. vulnerability is a paltry 1% damage per stack, and 6 initiative for stealth for a few seconds? Am i missing something here? I never use it when running d/d… what am i missing?!

press 5 then when is casting f1 then 1 then 2 and u shd be doing 10k+ dmg … if u did not kill it escape then spam short bow 2 or 1 and congratulations u know how to use thief.
